well, one day, while i was at home in oklahoma, and i was really bored. i decided that i just wanted to go drive around, since i hadn't driven since august. i decided that there was never a time that i was in europe or north carolina when i just happen to drive by 80 billion oil wells in a 5 minute span, so i decided to take a picture of one as a little rememberance of good ole oklahoma.

Amber on her 21st birthday in dallas! i took a little road trip down there to see her and katie for a little sevilla reunion...we miss you katie. we wish you could just come to wake forest and suddenly when you got here this beautiful river would pop up, with a torre de oro and everything and we could just sit there and eat our bocadillos and talk about life. man, i miss that! but you should for sure come visit us soon :)

The last day we were there, amber and my dream finally came true...we got to ride a moto! luque finally brought his moto from his chalet and took us around the city. the only problem was that there werent enough helmets, so we had to stop, get off and walk when we saw a police officer...so worth it though

at this point, amber and i were just feeling so lucky that it was finals week and we were just enjoying a little play time in the park...we weren't stressing out about finals cause we were in spain and no one stresses out in spain...this is something that needs to happen at wake. oh dont we all wish 

we basically just love spain...so much that amber is hopping over the little stream, if you can call it that :)

trains, planes and cinqueterre!

Alright so Kelly and I realized the night before our most amazing week of our entire lives that a. we were leaving at 5:30am and b. we were actually gone for 9 days instead of 8 and had a 12 hour layover in Frankfurt-hahn airport which resides in the middle of nowhere and c. that Kelly would convieniently miss her final...cool. But we hit up Rome, Florence, Pisa, Cinqueterre, and Venice. Our first night into Rome we met some Canadian guys who actually ended up travelling with us or actually, we ended up travelling with them haha through all 4 cities.. we stayed in precious little hostels, played a fascinating game of cards on top of the terrace drinking cheap wine with our South African, Slovic, and Canadian friends in Rome enjoying beautiful 70degree weather and Katie unfortunately got her wallet jacked earlier....no worries we were off to Florence where we stayed for three nights and enjoyed the rain, good company, home cooked meals at the Canadian' s hostel, ran into lots of friends from Spain, saw Kelly's friend from Wake, saw the David, amazing piazzas, gelatto, hit up an anarchist party where we were discouraged from taking pictures (we should of known it was sketchy when we could smell the body odor from the dark alley we had to walk down in order to enter) fun nonetheless.. and then said goodbye to Andy and Lars (from Canadia) and ran into them on the train to Pisa, sat with em, saw the leaning tower of Pisa which is really leaning, and said good bye to the boys yet again, then 5 minutes later hopped on their train in fear of not knowing where or what the heck Cinqueterre was ( i said it was a mountain, Andy said a sea-side town, combine them both and you get the most beautiful italian place in the world) sat with the boys again, arrived in Cinqueterra, greeted by UGO our lovely apartment owner who lent us a cute lil apt., the next morning we woke up after a long night of "who's your father" question and answer, then hiked a 5 hour hike up the beautiful side of the mountain, hitting 5 towns along the Mediterranean Sea, gasping at the orange and lime trees, vineyards of grapes, stray cats, waterfalls, and bamboo, as well as gasping for breath because there are at least one hundred billion stairs winding along the path, stuck our tired feet in the Sea after it was all over, came home to a nice home cooked meal, red wine, and some peace and quiet, journaling and taking in our amazing trip in italy.....next morning we were up at 4:30am only to miss two trains, show up in Venice to eat lunch, snap a picture and realize our airport wasn't where we thought it was..cool Ryan Air, then to sleep in the airport five train rides later and arrived in sevilla at 11am (30 hours after our initial departure) IT WAS ALL WORTH IT...WE LOVE ITALIA...CIAO BELLA.

Our first and last day in Rome, we saw all the sights that we wanted to see, despite katies wallet getting stolen in the metro.
