Amber and Katie climbing through the beautiful caves in the water! Our camera ran out of battery at this point, or we would have had some real frameable shots.
Just incredible...
Ok so to get to this gorgeous beach...we had to walk up and down about 10 stories of stairs. Thanks goodness it was worth the exhausting haul, or else we would have been some bitter girls, but too short of breath to complain about it.
Our last day at the beach! Kelly and Amber Sunday morning in front of Praia(beach in portugese) Camilio-definitely our favorite beach!
Us doing the pose that means..."What? We're at the end of the world?" I know its pretty obvious, but we thought we put a little caption just incase you missed that clear translation with the hand motions and facial expressions.
Saturday night we went to see Cabo San Vincente at sunset! This is the southwesternmost part of Europe that they used to believe was the end of the earth!! So incredible to know that they next land in front of us is the great U.S.A.!
It´s been many moons since you last heard from the moviestars like ourselves..since then we have tackled and actually killed innocent bulls in a bullfight, spent hours conversing with beautiful spanish men in yes you guessed it..spanish. Our next adventure was to Lagos Portugal which was where we encountered massive rocks that we had to scale in order to save us from the crazy portuguese men and we were bleeding, oh you´ll see the pics.. we went sailing across the atlantic, swam through shark infested waters, explored caves and lagoons that put The Little Mermaid to shame, went to the end of the world, saw America from standing on a cliff (no..silly..not true) but we danced the night away to some very cultural music, um yah can i get a ¨Man in the Mirror¨ performed exclusively by Michael Jackson, we have hung out at American bars to watch ¨Friends¨ which proved to be useful for practicing our ENGLISH..haha. We are bonding like never before..meeting many foreigners from all walks of life and livin it up Eurostyle.
This looks like a skull....even if you can't see the skull, it's a really cool rock in the water.
From the big boat, they had a little motor boat come take us in groups of 11 out through the grottos, or little caves and limestone rock formations in the water! So cool.
We got free Sangria on the boat and definitely enjoyed our time soaking up the sun!
The water was reallllly cold, but beautiful and so clear! This is after we all jumped off the boat for a little swim in the ocean.
Whoa ladies...this wasn't an all girls trip--but we notice more and more that pretty much only girls decide to study abroad. Gentleman in the states-take a hint: Come to Spain, the odds will totally be in your favor!
On Saturday at 11am we went on a lovely sailboat cruise with about 35 students from our group! What a great way to start the day...
We have conquered the rock! So what if a wave crashed our bodies into the rock as we were trying to climb up...jumping off the top was definitely worth the blood!
Pretty girls in Portugal!
More beautiful beach....we're in love.
Lindsay and Kelly having a photo shoot with the pole in the town center...basically, we had to kill some time in between dinner and the bar!
Praia Doña María-the beach we went to the first day in Lagos!
It's really cool for Spanish girls to wear huge sunglasses that cover most of their face...haha we tried to imitate that look...but we'll keep trying.
Out on the town enjoying a beautiful, delicious ice cream sundae Friday night! FYI, everyone in Lagos, Portugal speaks English and gets offended if you speak in Spanish. cuidado.
Here we are with Scott and Mike-two of our "leaders" on our trip to Lagos with DiscoverSevilla! Lindsay and I are flashing the free drink coupons we got at our VIP party at Old Tavern...good times!
We've arrived in Lagos! Here we are, struggling to get into our little hotel room--it took us about 15 minutes to realize we were in the wrong building. oops.

Kelly on our first day of school--in the castle they CLAIM to be an old tabacco factory, but who really knows.
