A breath taking view of the Mediterranean Sea from our hike  Posted by Hello

Lindsay,Nicole, Ashley and Amber´s last hoorah!

We left on Friday morning to fly from Sevilla to Barcelona, spent all day touring around admiring the amazing architecture of Gaudí all over the city. We bought an all day metro pass and just went in every direction to make the most of the day! We spent the night in a scary hostel that looked like a prison that was cold with reallllly strange guests, but they had free internet so we were content. We did a little more sightseeing the next day but flew to Geneva, Switzerland that Saturday afternoon! As soon as we got to Geneva, we got on a train to Interlaken--about 3 hours northwest of Geneva in the center of Switzerland, the Alps and two beautiful lakes! In Interlaken, we stayed at Balmer´s...the epitome of an awesome youth hostel with fun travellers from all over the world! Right away, we met some fun guys that were studying in Alicante and made amigos. One of them is actually Derek Dobbs´ roommate in Alicante---what a small world! Anyways, Switzerland was like a winter wonderland with incredibly nice people and breathtaking views wherever we looked. Definitely the most serene beauty I´ve ever seen, and probably will ever see in my life! We spent Sunday at the Christmas market, biking around the amazingly clean city and then went to the Santa Goes Wild celebration that night! The next day we all went paragliding through the Swiss Alps!! Flying through the mountains and being able to see all that beautiful scenery from an aerial view was just a surreal experience and something I´ll never forget! Basically, the pictures I´ve posted and simple words can´t even begin to describe how beautiful this place was so I´ll just give up trying. We had to fly back through Barcelona, and made it home safely on Wednesday morning! Now it´s one weekend of fun, one week of finals and we´re coming home on the 20th!

Ashley right before she ate grass upon landing. Haha you can see that her feet are straight out...when we told to start running when your feet hit so you can ease the crash. Haha but she just sat down, her pilot flew over the top of her and wiped out...sure glad she went last and all 3 of us could watch her do it! Posted by Hello

Here is Santa later that night getting wasted at the ¨Santa Goes Wild¨ annual celebration at a bar downtown. Haha we were there to witness this amazing sight and had a great time getting down with Santa, the King, the monk, and the black peters...yes, strange but they are their version of elves that are black and know all the bad things they kids have done all year! Posted by Hello

Here is Santa or St. Nick as they call him, walking around the Christmas market with his donkey...just getting the town in the spirit! Posted by Hello

The Christmas market! We met a fun Swiss man who looked like a true mountain man and made us a traditional Swiss Christmas drink...hot red wine with fruit, pretty much hot sangría Swiss style! Posted by Hello
