Salamanca, Spain

On Friday October 15th, we woke up at 6am to pack and get everything ready to leave on the bus to Salamanca at 7:30am. Basically, we haven´t been so tired in quite sometime, since all of us had just returned from France or Italy a couple days before! It was a miserable 7 hour bus ride, but we tried to enjoy the movies showing in Spanish and make the most of it. When we got there we checked into our amazing hotel, took a little nap and went to explore the small, old city of Salamanca. At the end of our little tour, we ran into several Wake Forest students and planned to meet up with them later so they could show us where the real fun was in the town! We went out at 11:30pm with a huge group of Wake Forest students that we had never met before, which was refreshing and felt so comfortable to meet people from our North Carolina home! The next day we did the whole sightseeing thing and all really enjoyed the architecture and beauty of this quaint city--even though we were all FREEZING. Overall, the trip was a big success and we just had a great time hanging out with new Wake Forest friends and just becoming closer with the other students with ISA that we were traveling with! Basically, one great field trip and we can´t wait til our next one together to Granada and Cordoba in November!
